This weekend my girlfriend Fush (okay, her name is really Fawn Usher) came to stay with us for two days. Fush and I used to work together in SoCal and have stayed in touch ever since.
Of course the one weekend she comes, Arizona has its coldest weather in months. In fact, it poured the night she came in with temps in the low 50s. So, we opted for a stroll in downtown Tucson and some pizza for lunch, since a trip to the water park or the zoo didn't seem quite so great in the rain.
Jay enjoying some pizza. He and Tyler loved Fush. She was an awesome hide and seek and hopscotch companion for Jay. On Saturday, Jayden had friends over in the morning. When he introduced them to Fawn, Jay said, "This is Fush. Its a wierd name." Fawn tried explaining that her name was really Fawn, but Jay just said, "Anyway, that's Fush."
Tim got a picture of both of us with the boys. Fush thanks for the visit. It was awesome to see you and such a reminder of the value of good friends. We love you!
