Catch up time... We'll start with Easter

Okay, so it's about time that I create an actual post for this blog... other than the practice entry that's been sitting there for two months. These first pictures are of the boys at an Easter celebration hosted by our homeowner's association. Sadly, these are already over a month old. Better late than never! :-)

On Easter itself we were lucky enough to have Jenn's parents come to town. Jayden and Tyler couldn't get enough of their "Oma" and "Opi"... or of the loads of goodies the Easter Bunny left behind.

Coloring Easter eggs with Opi. My Dad always colored the Easter eggs with my brother and me when we were younger. We looked forward to it every year. Now, it is a very special feeling for me to see him do the same with our boys at Easter. The kids always look for these colored eggs hidden around the house first thing in the morning.

And after church and naps, there was, of course, another Easter egg hunt. The Easter Bunny didn't want the goodies inside the eggs to melt outside in the afternoon sun, so he found plenty of hiding places in the boys' rooms.

We had a great first Easter in our new home this year, and, I'm happy to report, have eaten almost all the candy. :-)
