I was looking through the pictures on my camera the other day and found some that the grandparents might enjoy to keep up with what our boys are up to on a daily basis.

Tyler likes to dress up in his own way. His three favorite accessories lately are his sunglasses (see above), a helmet or hat of any kind and a yellow pair of rain boots. He will even wear the rain boots in 105 degree weather to the waterpark. Silly guy!

Jayden flashing his classic thumbs up grin.

What could be better than snuggling up with Daddy to watch a thunderstorm before bed?

Tyler pulls this hat out of his drawer almost daily and has great fun wearing it while he creates mischief throughout the house. He calls it his "helmet".

Jayden proudly showing me how well he can make his bed. This is one of his daily little chores, and he's quite a champ at it.

Sometimes, Tyler actually manages to get his hands on a real helmet. Then, he demands that we all wear helmets. So, no, the above picture was not taken after a long bike ride... this is just what we wear at our house. :-)

One of the most exciting things in the past two weeks has been the addition of our swingset to our backyard. The boys play on it literally every day. Yesterday Jayden asked to play on it during a lightning storm. When we told him no, he shot us quite the deadly look. They definitely love their swingset!

This picture shows the whole thing. It's still missing the canopy on top of the tower, and there is one more "rock climbing" ladder that has to be attached to the back side of the tower as well, but this gives a pretty good idea of our "park" as Jayden calls it.

New church clothes. The boys and I went to do Jayden's back to school shopping last weekend. Jayden wanted some new church clothes too and was very specific that what we bought had to include a tie. He pretends to be the president whenever he's wearing a tie. Perhaps a political career in his future? Who knows!
