Jayden turned 8, which is quite a big deal in our home. At 8, children can make the choice to get baptized in our church, and Jayden was so excited to take that step.
Here he is on the morning of his Birthday with his new set of scriptures and his favorite breakfast of chocolate chip pancakes in the shape of a J.
Jay is so my boy... chocolate cake with chocolate frosting is always his Birthday cake of choice.
With Dad on his big baptism day. Tim got to baptize Jay, which was really special.
We celebrated with cake and ice cream with some family and friends afterwards.
Some of the family that was in town for the big day - Uncle Jan, Auntie Leanne, and Grandpa John.
We are so proud of Jayden for making that big decision. His face was lit up all day with excitement. I cannot wait to see where that decision will lead him in his life.
